GPD Warns of Increase in Commercial Burglaries
Recently there has been an increase in commercial burglaries involving the theft or attempted theft of plasma televisions. The Greensboro Police Department (GPD) is requesting your assistance in reducing and solving these crimes. GPD is asking that business owners make sure their businesses and televisions are adequately secured. Also, GPD reminds businesses that engraving their company's name on the television and writing the serial and model numbers down will help detectives.
Members of GPD’s Community Resource Teams are available to assist businesses by conducting security surveys. Call 373-2489 to schedule a security survey.
If you have any information about these crimes, please contact Crime Stoppers at 373-1000
