College Hill Neighborhood Summit Set for January 27

GREENSBORO, NC – (January 20, 2009) – The College Hill Neighborhood Summit, hosted by the City of Greensboro and the College Hill Neighborhood Association, will take place on Tuesday, January 27, from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Church of the Covenant, 501 S. Mendenhall St.

"College Hill has changed quite a bit since the first neighborhood plan was adopted in 1978," said Sue Schwartz, Neighborhood Planning Manager for the City of Greensboro. "We’re ready to start planning for the next decade, and public participation is a critical part of this planning process."

The community-based planning effort will provide a blueprint for enhancing the quality of life throughout College Hill, Schwartz said.

Those who are unable to attend the meeting may provide input through an online survey.
