City and College Hill Neighborhood Association Seek Input on Community’s Growth
GREENSBORO, NC -- (April 9, 2009) – The City of Greensboro and the College Hill Neighborhood Association will host their second Neighborhood Summit to get public input on the future growth of the College Hill community. The summit will be held Thursday, April 16, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Church of the Covenant, 501 S. Mendenhall St.
During the first summit, held in January, attendees discussed issues affecting the neighborhood such as absentee landlords and problems with parking. At the upcoming meeting, City staff wants to work with the community to develop strategies to improve these issues.
Those who are unable to attend the meeting can provide input on the College Hill Neighborhood’s Web site. For more information, call Sue Schwartz, the City’s Neighborhood Planning Manager, at 373-2149.
