         CSW holds “Empowering 50 Plus to Make Informed Decisions” Forum

GREENSBORO, NC-- (June 8, 2009) – The Commission on the Status of Women’s (CSW) Service to Seniors Committee is sponsoring “Empowering 50 Plus to Make Informed Decisions,” a community forum for residents 50 years and older. The forum will be held Saturday, June 27, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Nussbaum Room of the Central Library, 219 N. Church St. 

Topics will include long-term care, estate planning, social security, healthcare, wellness and safety for seniors. Limited health screenings, such as cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose testing, will also be provided.
