GPD to Hold ‘Cop on Top’ Fund-raiser for Special Olympics
GREENSBORO, NC -- (April 14, 2009) – The Greensboro Police Department (GPD) will reach new heights to support Special Olympics of North Carolina. Join the GPD for its “Cop on Top” fund-raiser from 8 am to 8 pm on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, at two Greensboro Chick-fil-A locations: 209 Pisgah Church Rd. and 3703 Battleground Ave. Officers will be on top of the roof of Chick-fil-A, as well as on the ground, raising funds.
More than 37,000 athletes compete annually in the Special Olympics in North Carolina. Come out and support the cause!
