            Two City Employees Graduate from UNC School of Government

GREENSBORO, NC -- (November 23, 2009) – Two City of Greensboro employees, Christine Hofer and Rodney Roberts, both of the City’s Enterprise Solutions Department, have successfully graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Government’s Certified Government Chief Information Officer program (CGCIO). Hofer serves as director of Enterprise Solutions and Roberts serves as the department’s network supervisor.

The CGCIO program is designed for information technology directors and chief information officers working in the public sector whose responsibilities require a broad understanding of management, leadership and enterprise solutions topics. The course is approximately 240 hours in length.

Hofer and Roberts are two of 29 public sector employees who successfully completed the course this year. Over the course of its five-year existence, more than 300 information technology professionals have graduated from the program.
