GTA Announces Service Changes Beginning January 2
GREENSBORO, NC – (December 31, 2009) – Greensboro Transit Authority has announced a pair of service changes for GTA Routes 15 and 9, effective Saturday, January 2. Route 15 – Yanceyville Street/Brightwood School Road Daytime and evening service on this northern Greensboro route has been extended to the Lees Chapel Road area. The bus will now serve stops on Yanceyville Street at Leaf Lane, Rankin Road, Whites and Drive and Lees Chapel Road. Also added are stops on Lees Chapel at Mitchell Avenue, Glenside Drive, Laurel Lee Terrace and Southern Webbing Mill Road.
Route 9 – West Market Street The following bus stops will move after 7 pm only: • Wright Avenue and Aycock Street • Walker Avenue and Warren Street • Walker Avenue and Tremont Drive • Walker Avenue and Chapman Street During the evening hours, riders may access Route 9 at Aycock and Walker and Chapman and Walker. Daytime service will remain the same.
