New Garden Road Improvements Begin October 12

GREENSBORO, NC – (October 08, 2009) – The first phase of roadway improvements of New Garden Road begins Monday, October 12, and involves clearing the right-of-way for road widening along New Garden from Bryan Boulevard to Brassfield Road. This phase may require sporadic lane closures from 9 am to 4 pm each day. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use caution and obey posted signs.

The remainder of the New Garden Road improvements will take place over an extended period and are expected to be completed in spring 2011.
