Annual Youth First Teen Summit Slated for October 26
GREENSBORO, NC -- (October 18, 2009) -- "Teen Summit in 3D: Dating, Drugs and Other Dilemmas" is the theme of this year's Youth First Teen Summit scheduled for 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday, October 26, at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center.
This free, one-day conference is open to all Guilford County middle and high school students. It's traditionally held on the first Guilford County school system teacher workday, which this year is October 26. The conference focuses on teen issues and concerns and includes breakout sessions lead by representatives from agencies and organizations such as Planned Parenthood Health Systems, Family Life Council, Alcohol and Drug Services, and the Hope Project, among others.
