Wendover Avenue Lane Closures Continue
GREENSBORO, NC-- (June 5, 2009)-- Beginning at 7 pm on Friday, June 6, two lanes of eastbound Wendover Avenue between Latham Road to Magnolia Street will be closed for continuing waterline rehabilitation. Work is expected to be completed on Tuesday, June 9. This work will also close the intersection of Cridland Road and West Wendover Avenue, as well as Latham Road, Cridland Road, Virginia Street and Carolina Street between West Bessemer and West Wendover avenues.
Detours are in place and motorists are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid these areas. Extended delays should be expected throughout the work zone and motorists are urged to use extreme caution driving through the zones.
