City Seeks Public Input on Alamance Church Road Improvements

GREENSBORO, NC (May 24, 2010) – The City of Greensboro’s Transportation Department will hold a public meeting to receive residents’ input on proposed improvements to Alamance Church Road, between US 421/ Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Greensboro’s city limits. The meeting will be held Thursday, May 27, from 5:30-7:30 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1301 Alamance Church Rd.

At the meeting, residents will have an opportunity to review the proposed improvements, which were approved by voters in the November 2008 Bond Referendum as part of a package of transportation improvements. City staff will also be available to answer questions and receive comments.
