Three Carjacking Suspects Arrested
GREENSBORO, NC – (February 2, 2010) – Greensboro Police Department have arrested three suspects in connection with a recent carjacking at the 900 block of Logan Street. The suspects, Nicole Dorothy Wright, 20, Dedrick Bernard Williams, 19, and Kevin Eric Fikes Jr., 17, remain in custody under a $250,000 bond.
Officers responding to the Logan Street robbery observed the suspects leaving the area in the victim’s vehicle. All subjects then jumped and ran from the vehicle. Officers apprehended Wright and Williams at the scene. Warrants were issued for Fikes, who was arrested on January 28.
Wright and Fikes are charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy. Williams is charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy.
The investigation in this case is ongoing. From January 22-25, there have been three carjackings and one attempted carjacking in the 1500 block of Lexington Avenue, the 1600 block of Glenwood Avenue, and the 1200 block of Grove Street, in addition to Logan Street.
