Women’s Basketball League Registration Begins November 1
GREENSBORO, NC -- (October 29, 2010) -- Registration for Greensboro Parks and Recreation’s Women's Basketball League takes place November 1-30. Submit team registrations to the Athletics office at 501 Yanceyville St. Individual players who want to be placed on a team should contact Paula Boykin at paula.boykin@greensboro-nc.gov. The league is open to adults ages 18 and older. Registration is $40 per person.
League play includes 10 regular season games held Monday through Thursday nights and a single elimination tournament at the end of the season. A mandatory league organizational meeting for team managers takes place 6:30 pm Thursday, December 2, at Smith Senior Center, 2401 Fairview St. Practices begin Monday, December 6.
