Berry Day at the Greensboro Farmers’ Curb Market is July 10
GREENSBORO, NC -- (July 2, 2010) -- Local blueberries are now in season and are being celebrated at Berry Day at the Greensboro Farmers’ Curb Market from 6 am to 12 noon Saturday, July 10. Visitors will enjoy a blueberry pancake breakfast made from fresh, local berries, prepared by Alex Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Market, a nonprofit organization that supports year-round market activities.
The Greensboro Farmers’ Curb Market, a facility of the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department, is located at 501 Yanceyville St., across from War Memorial Stadium. Parking and admission are free. For more information, call 336-373-2961.
