City Offers Small Business Briefing December 2 on Government Contracts
GREENSBORO, NC -- (November 22, 2010) -- The City of Greensboro hosts a briefing for small business owners 8:30-10 am Thursday, December 2, in Central Library’s Nussbaum Room, 219 N. Church St. The event, titled Available Government Contracts: City, State, & Military Contracts, is free and open to small business owners and managers.
The session, which is part of the quarterly “Access to Success” small business series, provides information on available contracts and how to access, bid and secure government contracts at different levels of government, including city, state and military. Presenters for the session include representatives from the City’s Purchasing Office, NC Division of Purchasing and Contracts Office, NC Department of Transportation, and NC Military Business Center.
The briefing is sponsored by the City’s Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program and co-sponsored by the Greensboro Area Chamber of Commerce, GTCC Small Business Center, Greensboro Public Library, and Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship.
