Country Park's 16th Annual Car Show Set for August 14
GREENSBORO, NC -- (August 9, 2010) -- Country Park's 16th annual Car Show is 10 am to 4 pm Saturday, August 14. Admission is free for spectators. Vehicle entry fee is $20 on the day of the event and vehicle registration is from 8 am to 12 noon. Judging starts at 12:30 pm and the awards ceremony is at 3 pm. More than 100 trophies will be presented.
During the event, there will also be a drawing for cash prizes and a raffle for a ladies’ diamond dinner ring, donated by Hayes Jewelers of Lexington. The car show is a fund raiser for construction of Country Park’s All-Person’s Nature Trail, which will provide wheelchair access to the lakeside and other off-road areas of the park.
