 'Play All Day' at Cascade Park September 18

GREENSBORO, NC -- (September 13, 2010) -- The second annual Play All Day community celebration at Cascade Park, 3400 Watauga Dr., takes place from 9 am to 1:30 pm Saturday, September 18.

The free event features playground activities, games, crafts, and wildlife education exhibits. Representatives from the NC Cooperative Service and Greensboro Beautiful Inc. will be on hand with tips on fall gardening and healthy eating habits. Members of Seeds n' Weeds Garden Club will share information about their participation in the Parks and Recreation Department's Adopt-A-Park program and how others can help maintain and improve their neighborhood parks.
