Earth Day Celebration Slated for Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library April 10
GREENSBORO, NC -- (April 6, 2010) -- The City's annual Earth Day Celebration takes place 1-5 pm Saturday, April 10, at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library, 1420 Price Park Rd. Fun for the whole family, this year’s celebration includes live animals, hay rides, nature walks, geocaching, gardening and nature exhibits, entertainment, nature crafts, alternative vehicles, eco-art, solar and technology displays, and much more.

As a warm-up to the Earth Day Celebration, the public is invited to participate in the Great American Cleanup from 9 am to noon Saturday, April 10, throughout the city. The event is co-sponsored by Greensboro Beautiful, Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library and Field Operations Department.
