City’s Environmental Services Temporarily Moves Under Field Operations

GREENSBORO, NC – (December 28, 2010) – Effective December 29, the City of Greensboro’s Environmental Services Department will be temporarily moved under the direction of the Field Operations Department and its director, Dale Wyrick.

“This interim reorganization allows the City Manager’s Office time to study the most efficient and effective way to continue the excellent services conducted by Environmental Services throughout the past 10 years, lead by its director Jeryl Covington,” said Deputy City Manager Bob Morgan. Covington has resigned from the post effective December 31 to pursue private industry consulting work.

Wyrick, employed by the City since 1994, has headed Field Operations since 2006.
