GPD Investigating Explicit Phone Calls

GREENSBORO, NC – (October 14, 2010) – Over the last two days, numerous residents in random areas of Greensboro have received both racially and sexually explicit phone calls from phone numbers 336-510-8911, 336-510-2008, and 336-510-9890. The Greensboro Police Department's Criminal Intelligence Squad is investigating.

Police believe someone may have obtained a call distribution list to target people, because there is no particular pattern to the calls.
