Proposal Deadline on Operation of Farmers’ Curb Market is Extended
GREENSBORO, NC -- (December 17, 2010) -- Greensboro Parks and Recreation has extended its deadline to 5 pm Monday, January 31, for submitting management and operation proposals of the Greensboro Farmers’ Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville St.
The deadline extension is to ensure all interested parties have an opportunity to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) by the new deadline. “Our hope is that by extending the deadline, all groups will have sufficient time to prepare strong proposals,” said Dan Maxson, Parks and Recreation administrative services manager.
A mandatory pre-proposal meeting for those interested in operating the market will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 7, at the market.
To view the RFP document, please visit the Parks and Recreation’s homepage at www.greensboro-nc.gov/leisure and click on the Greensboro Farmers’ Curb Market Request for Proposal banner in the center of the page. For more information, call 336-373-2574.
