City’s M/WBE Program Sponsors Small Business Financing Briefing
GREENSBORO, NC – (March 29, 2010) – Small business owners often need to find alternative sources of funding, but identifying those sources can be a challenge. To assist, the City’s Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) program is sponsoring a free briefing from 8:30-9:45 am Thursday, April 8, at Greensboro Public Library’s Nussbaum Room, 219 N. Church St.
The session features representatives from Greensboro’s Self-Help Credit Union, the state’s Small Business Administration office, the City’s Economic Development division, and Glenwood Library, which houses many resources for nonprofits.
To reserve a seat at the briefing, which also includes a continental breakfast, call M/WBE at 336-373-2674 or the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce at 336-387-8322.
Part of M/WBE’s Access to Success program, the briefing is co-sponsored by Guilford Technical Community College’s Small Business Center, Chamber of Commerce, Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, and Greensboro Public Library.
