Pier Big Fish Contest Starts

GREENSBORO, NC -- (March 3, 2010) -- The City's Watershed Parks are hosting a Pier Big Fish Contest at Lake Higgins, Lake Brandt, and Lake Townsend now through the end of February 2011. To be eligible, participants must fill out a contest entry form at one of the lakes and pay a $5 entry fee. All pier fishing rules and fees apply and fish caught must be weighed by lake staff.

Monthly winners will receive an annual pier fishing pass and a plaque will be awarded to the angler who catches the biggest fish of the year. For more information, contact George Thomasson at 336-373-3741.
