Brown Bag Lunch with Author Susan Gregg Gilmore on August 31
GREENSBORO, NC -- (August 27, 2010) -- Bring your lunch to the Central Library at 12 noon Tuesday, August 31, and share a conversation with Susan Gregg Gilmore, author of Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen and now of the new book, The Improper Life of Bezillia Grove. Gilmore will talk about her new book, which will also be on sale at the library, and sign books following the lunchtime program.
Gilmore is considered a master at tapping into the heart of the South and using unspoken stream of consciousness from the land to punctuate her characters' surroundings.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Greensboro Public Library and Barnes and Noble Booksellers. Beverages will be provided.
