Barber Park Hosts Hayes-Taylor YMCA 5K Walk/Run on October 16
GREENSBORO, NC -- (October 11, 2010) -- Greensboro Parks and Recreation’s Barber Park hosts the Hayes-Taylor YMCA “Walking 4 the Future” 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, October 16. Registration begins at 8 am, followed by the race from 9 am to 12 noon.
Entry fee is $20 for adults ($25 on race day), $10 per person for groups of 15 or more, or $10 for youth ages 6-18. Pre-register at the Hayes-Taylor YMCA, 1101 E. Market St., or online at www.precisiontimingsystems.com.
The event event also includes music, prizes, and refreshments at the park, located at 1500 Dan’s Rd., off E. Lee Street. For more information, call 336-272-2131.
