Library Offers Senior Job Fair May 13
GREENSBORO, NC -- (May 6, 2010) -- Senior citizens are invited to the fifth annual Spring Job Fair from 10 am to 1 pm Thursday, May 13, at Central Library, 219 N. Church St. Representatives from area companies will be available to talk with seniors about employment and volunteer opportunities. Participants include Adecco, Bayada Nurses, The Carillon, Comfort Keepers, EJ's Staffing Services, Goodwill, GTCC, Home Health Professionals, Home Instead Senior Care, Key Resources, Volunteer Center of Greensboro and more.
The Greensboro Public Library serves job seekers of all ages with computers to help search for available positions and to fill out online job applications. Residents can also create resumes with the library's online ResumeMaker software, take free computer and Internet classes, and learn new job skills.
