City Holds Open House on Land Development Ordinance
GREENSBORO, NC (May 3, 2010) – The City of Greensboro will an open house meeting on the draft Land Development Ordinance (LDO) on Thursday, May 20, from 4-7 pm to give residents an additional opportunity to review the document before Greensboro City Council votes on the matter at its June 15 meeting. The informal drop-in meeting will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum’s Special Events Center, Meeting Room 4A, 1921 W. Lee St. The LDO will serve as the source for standards and regulations related to land-use and development in the city and includes city-wide rezoning policies that will make limited changes to existing zoning districts. This updated version represents the largest update and overhaul to the City's development regulations in nearly 20 years.
At the meeting, City staff will be available to answer residents’ questions and concerns about the draft LDO.
