OPUS Concert Series Kicks Off 2010-11 Season on October 22

GREENSBORO, NC -- (October 15, 2010) -- The OPUS Concert Series kicks off the 2010-11 season at 7:30 pm Friday, October 22, at Guilford College's Dana Auditorium, 5800 W. Friendly Ave. Admission is free.

Under the direction of Robert Gutter, the Philharmonia of Greensboro will present four musical pieces: Bizet, L’Arlesienne; Cateloube, Chants d’Auvergne; Faure, Pelleas et Melisande; and Rossini, Overture from the Thieving Magpie.
