       City Wants Your Input on the Future of Greensboro

GREENSBORO, NC (January 6, 2010) – The City of Greensboro wants your input on the future of our city. Join staff for a public meeting about the City’s 2010-2014 consolidated planning process Wednesday, January 13, from 6:30-8 pm and Thursday, January 14, from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm at J. Douglas Galyon Depot, 236 E. Washington St.
 
The five-year consolidated plan, which is required by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, will outline the City’s housing, community development and public service needs and priorities. This year’s plan will also focus on economic development and transportation needs and address environmental concerns. Public input is sought to make sure the plan reflects the needs of the community.
