Local Author Reads from his Latest Novel April 17

GREENSBORO, NC -- (April 9, 2010) -- Charles Rodenbough, author of a new novel based on the life of David and Rachel Caldwell, will conduct a reading, discussion and book signing from 11 am to 2 pm Saturday, April 17, at the Caldwell Historical Center, 3211 W. Cornwallis Dr.

The event, which is free and open to the public, centers around the book "If the Lord is Willing and the Creek Stays Low: A Novel Based on the Life of Rev. David and his wife Rachel Caldwell." Rodenbough has written numerous articles and books about North Carolina history and produced three historical novels.
