Fall USTA Junior Team Tennis League Registration Begins August 29

GREENSBORO, NC -- (August 24, 2010) -- Registration for the fall USTA Junior Team Tennis league is 3-4:30 pm Sunday, August 29, and 4-6 pm Wednesday, September 1, at Bur-Mil Park, 5834 Bur-Mil Club Rd.

Parents and children are encouraged to attend with their rackets and learn more about the fall league, which runs from September 12 to October 24. Teams will be formed for ages 12 and under, 10 and under, and 8 and under divisions. The league is designed for beginner to intermediate players interested in learning skills, scoring, rules, etiquette, and gaining success.

Matches for the 10 and under and 8 and under divisions are held Sunday afternoons throughout the six-week season and matches for the ages 12 and under division will be held on Friday afternoons. 

Precision Tennis Academy and Bur-Mil Park host the league, played in the QuickStart format. Bur-Mil Park is one of two facilities in North Carolina that offers Junior Team Tennis on permanent QuickStart courts.
