Tip-a-Cop Fund-Raiser for Special Olympics Set for April 17
GREENSBORO, NC -- (April 15, 2010) -- On Saturday, April 17, the Greensboro Police Department (GPD) teams up with Red Robin Restaurant for the annual Tip-a-Cop fund-raising event for the Special Olympics. The Red Robin at 1507 Highwoods Blvd. will participate.
During the event, members of the GPD will help the restaurant's wait staff from 11 am to 3 pm and from 4-8 pm by delivering bread and beverages. Customers will be asked to make a donation, above their wait staff tip, which will be given to Special Olympics.
