Trout Fishing Available at Lake Higgins Beginning November 19

GREENSBORO, NC -- (November 12, 2010) -- Beginning Friday, November 19, Lake Higgins Watershed Park will offer trout fishing at its Taylor Turner Hatchery Pond for anglers of all ages. A North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission fishing license is encouraged, but a trout stamp is not required. The fishing fee is $1 and caught fish is $3.75 per pound. All caught fish must be kept and weighed; this is not a catch and release fishing opportunity.
