Olympic Gold Medalist Hosts Youth Volleyball Clinics on October 23
GREENSBORO, NC -- (October 18, 2010) -- Olympic Gold medalist Misty May-Treanor visits Greensboro Saturday, October 23, to conduct volleyball clinics for local youth. First, from 9 am to 12 noon, she'll host an indoor clinic for ages 10-18 at the Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 16th St. Then, from 1:30-4:30 pm, May-Treanor conducts an outdoor clinic for ages 12 and up. This clinic takes place on the sand courts at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG).
To register for either clinic, visit www.mistymay.com, click on the “Clinics” link at the top of the home page and fill out the participation information form at the bottom. Select which Greensboro clinic you want to attend. Cost is $80 per person.
May-Treanor will also attend the UNCG/Citadel volleyball match at 7 pm that day, during which she will be recognized for her achievements. The match, which is free and open to the public, is a UNCG Dig Pink event to raise money for breast cancer research.
