City to Hold Workshop on Proposed Improvements to Sandy Ridge/Pleasant Ridge Road
GREENSBORO, NC -- (January 7, 2010) -- The City of Greensboro will hold a public drop-in workshop Tuesday, January 12, from 4-7 pm to get input on the feasibility of future roadway improvements to Sandy Ridge Road from I-40 to W. Market Street and to Pleasant Ridge Road from W. Market Street to NC 68. The workshop will be held at Colfax Elementary School's Media Center, 9112 W. Market St.
Staff from the City's Department of Transportation (GDOT) will discuss issues, answer questions and record residents’ comments about the issue. The public comment period for this workshop ends February 12. For additional information or to submit a comment, call 336-373-3117.
