Youth Football Fall League Registration Begins June 3

GREENSBORO, NC -- (May 28, 2010) -- Early registration for Greensboro's fall youth football leagues begins June 3 at various sites throughout the community. League play is open to ages 7-12 and features two divisions: Pee Wees (ages 7-9)  and Mites (ages 10-12). Ages are determined as of October 16, 2010. Players are assigned to teams based on the district in which they reside. At registration, parents are asked to provide a valid copy of a player’s birth certificate and the Parent’s Association for Youth Sports (PAYS) card for verification. League fee is $50 per player and will be collected by recreation center supervisors. 

Onsite registration will be held from 9 am to 4:30 pm Mondays through Fridays at the Parks and Recreation Department’s Athletics office, 501 Yanceyville St., across from War Memorial Stadium.

  • Thursday, June 24 – Peeler Center, 1300 Sykes Ave. (6-8 pm)
  • Saturday, June 26 – Windsor Center, 1601 E. Lee St. (10 am-12 noon)
