Lake Townsend Hosts Bass Tournament March 12

GREENSBORO, NC -- (March 3, 2011) -- On Saturday, March 12, Greensboro Watershed Parks hosts the year's first one-person bass tournament at Lake Townsend, 6332 Lake Townsend Rd., Browns Summit. Entry fee is $25 and an additional $10 for the “Big Fish” pot. The tournament begins at 7 am with weigh-in at 3 pm.

Cash prizes will be determined by the total number of anglers registered. The first place winner will receive 50 percent of the entry fees, second place receives 20 percent and third place will receive 10 percent. All winners will be awarded a plaque.
