Green Hill Cemetery Historic Walking Tour Set for May 8

GREENSBORO, NC – (May 3, 2011) – The City Cemeteries division of the Parks and Recreation Department hosts an historic walking tour of Green Hill Cemetery from 2-3:30 pm Sunday, May 8. Volunteer tour guides will provide information on monuments, mausoleums, indigenous trees, and prominent families interred in the cemetery. The $5 fee, which includes a guidebook, benefits the City Cemeteries restoration fund.
