Traffic Alert Set for Coliseum April 8
GREENSBORO, NC -- (April 7, 2011) -- Due to anticipated capacity crowds for events at the Greensboro Coliseum Friday, April 8, the Greensboro Police Department (GPD) advises patrons to arrive 90 minutes prior to event start times and carpool if possible. Parking lots open at 4:30 pm.
GPD will manage major intersections in the vicinity of the Coliseum and use variable messaging systems to advise motorists of parking and traffic information. Drivers are encouraged to use the Lee Street parking lot at the corner of Lee and Coliseum Boulevard and "Leave it on Lee" for convenient access to the north end of the Coliseum and post-event exiting.
