 Youth First Hosts Mother’s Day Essay Contest

GREENSBORO, NC -- (March 18, 2011) -- The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth First program is hosting its annual Mother’s Day Essay Contest for all Guilford County middle school students. One-page essays titled "An Ode to My Mom" are a great way for students to tell their mothers how much they love and appreciate them.

Entries should include author's name, school and phone number. Winners receive gift certificates for dinner for the student and his or her mother. Essays should be submitted to the Youth First office by Tuesday, April 26, by mail to Folk Teen Center, 3910 Clifton Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407 or by fax to Youth First at 336-373-2128.
