Free Workshop on College Financial Aid Set for January 22

GREENSBORO, NC (January 20, 2011) -- When is the best time to start planning for college and how to pay for it? Right now. To help, the Greensboro Public Library presents a workshop from 2-4 pm Saturday, January 22, at Central Library, 219 N. Church St. on how to find out about college scholarships, grants, loans, and savings programs.

The workshop features speakers from NC A&T State University, Guilford Technical Community College and the Library Reference Department. Information presented will focus on finding financial aid and tips for avoiding problems during the application process.
