Historical Museum Hosts Lecture on Architect Edward Loewenstein
GREENSBORO, NC – (May 4, 2011) – The Greensboro Historical Museum’s Belle Meade Society hosts a lecture about architect Edward Loewenstein’s professional and social impact on the community at 6 pm Monday, May 9, at the Historical Museum, 130 Summit Ave.
Patrick Lee Lucas, UNCG associate professor of interior architecture, presents “Modernism at Home: Edward Loewenstein and Architectural Innovation in Greensboro, 1946-70.” Tickets are $20. For more information, contact Anna Pittman at 336-282-4555.
The Belle Meade Society consists of people who contribute $250 or more to the museum annually.
