Operation Medicine Drop is March 26
GREENSBORO, NC -- (March 17, 2011) -- The City of Greensboro is co-sponsoring an Operation Medicine Drop from 10 am to 2 pm Saturday, March 26, at area Walgreens drug stores and a Kerr Drug store. Operation Medicine Drop is a prescription drug take-back event where you can safely dispose of expired, unused prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications to help keep the drugs out of the wrong hands.
Bring your medications to the following locations:
- Walgreens stores
- 3529 N. Elm Street
- 3703 Lawndale Drive
- 3701 High Point Road
- 5727 High Point Road
- 4701 West Market Street
- 300 East Cornwallis Drive
- 1600 Spring Garden Street
Kerr Drug store
Operation Medicine Drop is administered by Safe Kids North Carolina and the NC Department of Insurance in partnership with the NC State Bureau of Investigation and the North Carolina Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance. Local sponsors include the City of Greensboro, Walgreens, Kerr Drug, Safe Guilford (Safe Kids), News & Record, and Alcohol and Drug Services.
