3rd Stage Theatre Company Presents New Play Project April 14-17

GREENSBORO, NC – (April 7, 2011) – The 3rd Stage Theatre Company, a City Arts Drama Center group, presents its 18th annual NC New Play Project on April 14-17. Performances are at 8:05 pm Thursday through Saturday and at 2:05 pm Sunday on the first level of the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St.

The play, titled “Illuminations,” was written by Larry Robinson, a Monroe playwright and drama teacher. It tells the story of a young man convicted of armed robbery and sentenced to spend time in the home of the artist he blinded in the attack. While dealing with their anger, the men develop a friendship.
