Bur-Mil Park Hosts 5K Run/Walk April 3
GREENSBORO, NC (March 25, 2011) – Bur-Mil Park will host Race Into Spring, a 5K Run/Walk, for children, adults, and dogs on leashes on Sunday, April 3, at 5834 Bur-Mil Club Rd.
Registration begins at 9 am, followed by the race at 10 am and awards at 11:15 am. The race begins between the Wildlife Education Center and the Dairy Barn. The route runs along the paved Atlantic and Yadkin Greenway.
Entry fee is $5 per person in advance, $7 per person the day of, and $4 per person for groups of 10 or more in advance. The race is limited to 150 participants. Registration forms are available at www.burmilpark.org or at the Wildlife Education Center at Bur-Mil Park. Proceeds benefit Bur-Mil Park.
Participants will receive a water bottle and items from sponsors, and will be entered in a raffle for prizes. Prizes also will be given to finishers in various categories.
