Adult Women’s Softball League Registration Begins January 18

GREENSBORO, NC -- (January 12, 2011) -- Team registration for the Adult Women’s Softball League for players, ages 18 years and older takes place from January 18 to March 1. A mandatory team manager’s organizational meeting is 6:30 pm Tuesday, March 15, at the Athletics’ Office, 501 Yanceyville St. All teams must have fees and registration forms submitted no later than March 1.

The registration fee is $475 for teams in Guilford County and $845 for teams outside of Guilford County. Practices begin in late March. League play consists of 12 regular season games held on Tuesday and Thursday nights. A single-elimination tournament follows at the conclusion of the regular season.
