City Honors Tanger Family with Dedication of Hobbs Road

GREENSBORO, NC (April 4, 2011) – A portion of Hobbs Road has been dedicated to the Stanley Tanger family, in honor of its contributions to the City of Greensboro. The honorary street name does not change the permanent street name and residents will not need to change their address.

City Council approved the honorary move during its March 1 meeting and signpost toppers were placed at Hobbs Road intersections, from Starmount Farms Drive, near the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden, to Jefferson Road and Temple Emanuel.
