Tots Discovery Classes Begin May 7

GREENSBORO, NC – (May 3, 2011) – Tots Discovery classes for children ages 3-5 begin Saturday, May 7. The free weekly classes will be held Saturday mornings from 10-11 am (except June 11, which will be from 9-10 am) and focus on a different topic, such as birds, frogs, fishing, and camping. Programs are presented by Greensboro Watershed Parks, Greensboro Public Library, and the Haw River State Park, and include storytime, a craft, and hands-on exploring.

The schedule is as follows:
Lake Higgins, 4335 Hamburg Mill Rd.
    May 7 – Frogs and Toads
    June 4 – Hiking and Camping
    June 11 – Fishing
    July 16 – Butterflies

Lake Brandt, 5945 Lake Brandt Rd.
    May 21 – Dragonflies 
    June 18 – Birds 
    July 30 – Mammals
