Public Meeting for Western Area Land Use and Infrastructure Plan Set for March 17
GREENSBORO, NC (March 7, 2011) – The City of Greensboro’s Western Area Land Use and Infrastructure Plan will be discussed at an education session and public meeting Thursday, March 17, from 4-7:30 pm, in the fellowship hall of Shady Grove Wesleyan Church, 119 N. Bunker Hill Rd., Colfax. The plan offers insight into how the City plans to manage future growth and sustainability in the western region of Greensboro.
A community education session about the sustainability elements incorporated into the plan is scheduled for 4 pm. The public meeting is at 5:30 pm and introduces the planning process, while offering residents the opportunity to discuss issues related to the growth of the study area.
