It's easy to stay in touch with the City of Greensboro. You can call us, get information on TV, or visit us online.
Contact Center
The City’s Contact Center is staffed with knowledgeable City Services Representatives who can answer your questions about City programs and services. You can call them at 373-CITY (2489) or chat live online with a CSR.
Cable Channel 13
The City’s government cable channel provides information about City government and features live coverage of all City Council meetings, a bulletin board with information on City meetings, services and job openings, and programs that familiarize viewers with City departments and outline issues concerning City government. City Website
The City's website, www.greensboro-nc.gov, provides visitors with information about City departments and services, the City government, a calendar of events, job listings, and meeting agendas, plus a live chat feature to connect you to a City Services Representative who can answer your questions about the City. Boards and Commissions
The City of Greensboro has created many boards and commissions that perform a variety of functions and provide a wide range of services. The privilege of serving on one of these boards or commissions is open to qualified residents who have an interest in serving the community. If you have an interest in serving on a board or commission, contact the City Clerk at 373-2397.
City Academy
The City of Greensboro’s Government Works: A City Academy is a series of classes designed to teach participants about all aspects of City government. Classes use engaging hands-on activities to show how City government affects the quality of life in Greensboro. Class sessions include information on topics ranging from police to economic development to leadership. For more information, call 373-3641.
